We were recently commisioned to build some of the tables for the Encanterra in Arizona. This amazing resort is located in Queens Creek, Arizona. The images below are of some of the tables we built for this luxuary resort/golf club.

PURPLE HEART- This wood is actually purple in color and amazingly beautiful...as is all wood but if you would like a piece that is unique and different...this is your choice.Found in Central and South America, this exotic wood is a worldwide favorite.
African or Khaya Mahogany - Native to the African rain forests, is also a true mahogany but only distantly related to the American species. The wood of African mahogany is very light in color in comparison to the American varieties, tending more towards pink than the deep red of Cuban or Honduras types. Rare trees of the Khaya variety may show distinctive grain patterns or figure that are very desirable as veneers. Khaya mahogany also yields valuable quarter-sawn lumber which displays the rays of the wood as well as the annual rings.
SASSAFRASS WOOD OR THE MAGIC TREE - This wood, which continues to be used in furniture, was often used in flooring and bedsteads because people believed the sassafras fragrance would drive away bedbugs and other pesky insects. Early settlers also believed that beds made from sassafras would drive away evil spirits and give people more restful sleep.

PINE ARMOIRE - other options are to plane and machine your wood, as this customer requested. This has a natural stain finish with 8 coats of satin poly. Although you lose all the imperfections history and time had to offer, you still have a beautiful product to YOUR specifications when we are finished.
